On Monday, April 26th, eTopps will launch 2010 Baseball! This year's set will include successful elements from the past with well-received enhancements that have made it bigger and better, including the return of Wild Card Rewards and Daily Jackpots!
Wild Card Rewards
(*) Eligible cards must be in your online portfolio at 11:59AM on 10/4/10. Points will be awarded following the conclusion of the 2010 World Series eTopps Daily Jackpots are a series of randomly appearing contests keyed to a specific day of MLB games, where eTopps users can earn points if a player in their online portfolio meets a specified statistical target in a game played during that MLB date. Check eTopps.com each day to see if the Daily Jackpot is active - a unique banner will announce that a specific eTopps Daily Jackpot is open for THAT DAY ONLY! When you click on the active Daily Jackpot Banner, you will be taken to a page that will announce the Jackpot statistic for that date. A hitting, pitching or fielding statistic will be spelled out, such as "2 TRIPLES", "13 STRIKEOUTS", or "2 PICKOFFS" and if any player featured on a 2009 or 2010 eTopps Baseball card in your online portfolio meets or exceeds that statistic during that day's MLB games, you will be awarded Daily Jackpot Reward points! (see below for details) Daily Jackpot Rewards will be announced prior to the start of the earliest MLB game on a random date. On days when there is no active Jackpot, a banner will appear on eTopps.com advising that you should "Watch this Space" for future Daily Jackpot Rewards. eTopps Daily Jackpot Reward Points may be used in the same way as traditional Performance Bonus Reward Points, and can be used towards items offered in the eTopps Catalog. Cards eligible for the eTopps Daily Jackpot Rewards are limited to: 2009 eTopps Baseball and 2010 eTopps Baseball. To receive eTopps Daily Jackpot Reward points, a qualifying 2009 or 2010 eTopps Baseball card must be in your online portfolio as of 11:59 AM (ET) on the next calendar day following an active eTopps Daily Jackpot. eTopps Daily Jackpot Reward Points will be awarded within one week of the featured date. Player Performance Bonus2010 eTopps Baseball will continue to offer traditional Performance Bonus targets for Player cards. If the player hits all of the statistical targets, you will receive Performance Bonus Rewards Points to acquire free items in our weekly catalog. The categories are listed below: Pitchers: ERA WHIP K Hitters: AVG HR RBI The number of performance bonus points eligible for each card is as follows: * $7.50 and higher: 2 points * Less than $7.50: 1 point The Restricted Rookie Offering (The RRO) We will offer RROs once again as part of the 2010 eTopps Baseball set. The feedback on RROs from the eTopps community remains positive and we are excited to present them again this season. RROs for 2010 Baseball will be offered on Mondays at 1PM EST. When announced, we will specify the time frame in which they will be available, as well as the print-run (some RROs will have announced print-runs; others will be unlimited). The RROs will be designated as such on the card backs and those subjects will never be offered again.* *Note on RROs: These players will never appear on an individual card, but may appear on other special team or event cards in the future. Fantasy Game We are happy to announce that the eTopps Big League challenge is back, and it's bigger and better than ever before! This year, the challenge will last for 14 weeks and include awesome prizes. The exciting 14-week challenge will continue to test and reward your fantasy skills, as each week you will submit your lineup of players by unlocking their respective cards from your eTopps portfolio. You can use 2008, 2009 and 2010 cards (as they become available), as well as 2009 World Baseball Classic cards, and the players' performance on-field that week will determine how well you do. There will be Weekly Prize winners throughout the game, and Grand Prize winners at the conclusion of the 14-week challenge. So... stock up on your favorite players and let the fun begin!
