etopps GAMES

What are etopps games?

etopps is no longer a spectator sport! If you like fantasy sports, you can now do it the etopps way. These games are not designed to replicate or replace any fantasy games you currently play, they are intended to be yet another way to enjoy your passion for sports.

Throughout the season, there will be many "fantasy-style" etopps games to play. Some will be simple and some will be more complex. Some will be short (week-end) games; others will be longer in duration.

You'll compete using players in your portfolio plus, in most games, players from the "etopps community roster" established for that particular game - some of these players have already had etopps cards produced, some haven't. There will even be divisions, so that you can compete against people at your own "Portfolio Size Level".

etopps games will come in a few flavors:

etopps Tournaments: In these "public format" games, you will be able to compete against all other etoppers that have joined the tournament or just those in your division. etopps Tournaments will begin during the Opening Week of the Baseball Season. Of course, there will be PRIZES, so play, play, play!

Private Challenges (Coming Soon!): In a few weeks, you will be able to personally challenge other etoppers (and friends who are not yet etoppers) to games. We will provide you with several game types to choose from and you can invite 1 etopper, several etoppers or your entire division to play! Play for fun or...

For Keeps (Coming Soon!): Remember that feeling when you came home from school with that HUGE wad of cards that you won from your "friends"? Well, etopps remembers, too. Beginning in late April, you can challenge other etoppers to play certain games "for keeps". You can either play for just 1 card that you've put in the game or all the cards in your game. You decide! Even some of the etopps Tournaments will be played "for keeps".

Some of the games will be free and some will require "tokens" to play. For every 2 cards you buy from etopps, you will get a free token. You can buy additional tokens for $1.50 each. For the first few weeks, however, all games will be free.

How does it work?

It's easy! Within minutes, you can either (1) join a game created by etopps or (2) create your own Divisional Challenge game (coming soon!), where you set the game parameters and invite other etoppers to join.
