	Subject:	NOTE: 2006 etopps Football Performance Bonus Goals

	In an effort to simplify the Performance Bonus process and minimize the number of categories players must achieve to realize bonus, this year there are only two performance categories per player. The actual performance goals were set and determined specifically as follows: Running Backs (RB) - rushing yards and rushing TD’s. Wide Receivers (WR)- receiving yards and receiving TD’s. Quarterbacks (QB) - passing yards and passing TD’s. Defensive Players - Tackles and sacks. Offensive Linemen (OL) - Games played and individual sacks allowed. 	eTopps will now be offering a new catalog every week. Beginning the week of October 2nd, catalogs will be offered on Wednesday of each week. In an effort to be fair and equitable to both coasts, the catalog launch time will rotate between 2PM EST and 10PM EST. On Wednesday, October 4th, the catalog will come out at 2PM EST. The following Wednesday, October 11th, the catalog will come out at 10PM EST. The following week the catalog returns to 2PM EST and so on. We are currently working new merchandise to the inventory in an effort to bring our users a substantial catalog each week. We hope you enjoy the weekly catalogs. Thanks to some excellent feedback etopps has received over the past few weeks, starting today etoppers can search through Trade Post offers by using Advanced Search criteria. To access this area, simply click the "Advanced Search" link found on the "View Trade Offers" page of the etopps Trade Post and choose such filters as "Search Text","Year Issued","Card Set","Value Ratio","Offer Created" and "Only show offers I can trade" We hope you enjoy this new etopps Trade Post feature and appreciate your feedback!



Subject:	New "Value Ratio" sorting option (etopps Trade Post)

Starting today, we have added a new statistic to the Trade Post display pages, the "Value Ratio". The "Value Ratio" is a calculation of the ratio of The Highest Offer Value from a specific trade offer divided by the Value of the Card desired. A "Value Ratio" greater than 100% indicates that the etopper offering the trade is willing to give up more in card value than he is receiving, while a ratio of under 100% indicates the opposite. After hearing feedback from etoppers on this subject, we have decided not to make "Value Ratio" the default display for Trade Post offers. Rather, the display will continue to default to the most recent Trade Post offers on top. Please note, however, that you may still sort the pages by the highest value trades by simply clicking the column title: "Value Ratio". Also, as a reminder of what the exact Value Ratio calculation is, simply place your mouse over the "Value Ratio" column heading to view the definition. Please note that COIs (Certificates of Issuance) shipped with all 2005 etopps Baseball cards requested for delivery will contain two hand-written numbers: (1) the card's serial number, and (2) the issue size. In addition, please note that each (card-sized) COI will be shipped in the same plastic baggie with the corresponding card. We hope this helps to clear up any confusion and appreciate all the feedback we've received on this subject.

Subject:	etopps Football Classics
Date:	02/02/05
Please note that for the sake of consistency within the etopps Classics set, all etopps Football Classics cards produced in 2005 will be designed with a silver medallion image (vs. gold). As a reminder, since January 2004, no etopps cards have been produced with actual medallions. Due to technical constraints, the lettering on the card front will also appear in silver (vs. gold).



Subject:	Rewards Catalog Announcement

Beginning on February 1, 2005, the etopps Rewards Catalog will switch from its current "tiered" point value system to a fixed calculation of 1 point = $1.25 in card value. We are making this change in order to spread demand more equally among the catalog offerings. Currently, there is a rush to acquire the high dollar cards (i.e. cards with a large point per card value ratio), while the low dollar cards are redeemed last. We believe that the community as a whole will be more satisfied with the catalog because all of the items will be valued equally from a $1.25-per-point basis, leading to a larger selection of equally valued product offerings. We understand that a few “winners” who only acquire the high dollar cards will be disappointed, but in general, this is a more equitable approach. Another benefit of this change will be the introduction of 1-point cards. Starting 2/1/05, no longer will cards at the bottom of the etopps value scale require 3 catalog points. Lastly, it is important to note that the $1.25-per-point value was determined as the point value average for the last 10 catalogs (with a few products fetching much more than $1.25 per point, and the majority of products being redeemed for less).
